GEORGE ARTEM

JD CANDIDATE | MSIS 2020


 

Mr. George Artem is an experienced technology professional, entrepreneur and published author with a background in enterprise technology architecture. He holds a Master of Science, Information Systems from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business and also attended New England Law | Boston as a Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Scholar where he helped found the NELB Space Law Society.

George brings a master level understanding and years of experience rooted in on-the-ground technical knowledge and proven leadership in programs focused on delivering strategic solutions to higher education institutions, and both state and federal government, most recently for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health & Human Services IT-PMO during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After vaccine mandates were issued in 2021, George moved back to his hometown in Seattle, WA to be close with family and re-focus his efforts on helping address the intersecting crises of crime, homelessness, mental health and drug abuse.

George recently completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps, Vet Corps member with the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs on the Antioch University, Seattle campus and briefly ran for Seattle City Council as an Independent in 2023. He spends his weekends at the Shoreline Veterans Center.

George incorporated DogeDealz LLC in June of 2023 and directs a team of dedicated engineers that are building payment gateway and drop-shipping applications which incorporate the dogecoin crypto-currency for large e-commerce ecosystems like Shopify.
